These live Zoom sessions focus on practical speaking, reading, and writing skills to empower participants in education and everyday life. 2. Cosmetic Donations
Support for Women’s Empowerment Centers & Cosmetology School in Mumbai – August 2024
We provided personal care, makeup, and skincare donations to women’s empowerment centers and a cosmetology school serving underprivileged women in Mumbai. This project helps women develop new skills, gain confidence, and build sustainable livelihoods in beauty and wellness industries. By supporting their training and self-care, we foster empowerment, independence, and hope. We recieved these products through a partnership with Sephora, and Ulta.
Donation to Project Self Sufficiency – November 2024
In partnership with Project Self Sufficiency, we donated unopened makeup kits and personal care products collected through generous contributions from Sephora. This collaboration supports women in vulnerable situations by boosting their confidence and self-worth through the gift of self-care. These items will also be given to underprivileged teens for events such as Prom. We’re proud to contribute to an initiative that uplifts women with kindness and dignity.
Our in-person English proficiency classes provide hands-on learning experiences for women and girls, focusing on practical communication skills to boost confidence and open doors to new opportunities. These interactive sessions foster a supportive environment where participants can practice speaking, listening, and comprehension in real-life contexts.
3. Book Donation + In-Person classes with underprivileged school – August 2024
Thanks to a generous donation from a local bookstore in Surat, Gujarat, we were able to gift 400 carefully selected books to a school in Mumbai. These books aim to ignite a passion for reading and support literacy among the children, giving them valuable resources to explore, learn, and grow. This collaboration highlights the power of community in transforming education for young minds.
INDIAFEST – AUGUST 2025
At IndiaFest, we had a wonderful time engaging the community with henna painting and diya decorating activities. The event was a great success, providing us valuable exposure while celebrating and promoting Indian culture. Through these creative activities, we were able to spread awareness of our mission, connect with new supporters, and raise funds to further our work empowering individuals in India.
